NAPO Slams NDC’s Neglect of Obuasi, Urges Residents to Choose NPP

The Vice presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) , Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh branded as NAPO, has lambasted the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its catastrophic failure to develop Obuasi.

“Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh,  warned that voting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would be a betrayal of their own interests, citing years of neglect and abandonment under NDC rule.

He urged  them instead to embrace the NPP’s transformative development agenda.

Addressing a massive campaign rally in Obuasi, NAPO painted a stark picture of the NDC’s neglect, highlighting the devastating impact of their tenure.

He revealed that, the collapse of Anglo Gold Ashanti, the NDC’s neglect of critical infrastructure projects, and failure to harness Obuasi’s gold resources for local benefit  left the area impoverished.

In contrast, NAPO showcased the NPP’s transformative achievements, including the revitalization of Anglo Gold Ashanti, construction of critical roads, and revitalization of Obuasi’s economy.

NAPO’s impassioned plea urged Obuasi residents to reject the NDC’s legacy of neglect and embrace the NPP’s vision for progress.

“Obuasi deserves better,” NAPO emphasized. “Let’s choose development over decay.”

As the 2024 elections loom, Obuasi residents are poised to decide between the NDC’s history of neglect and the NPP’s promise of prosperity.
