A/R: Victory Baptist Church launches its 40th anniversary celebrations

The Victory Baptist Church at Ayigya in the Oforikrom municipality in the Ashanti region has launched its 40th anniversary celebrations.

This milestone marks four decades of dedicated service to the community, spreading the Gospel, and promoting spiritual growth.

The anniversary celebrations will be characterized by a year-long series of activities, including medical outreach and evengelism.

Other activities are construction of water bore-hole at Ayigya, church dedication, and the adoption and renovation of a ward at KNUST Hospital.

On the theme “Celebrating God’s Unchanging Promises”, the anniversary was launched on Sunday, February 2, 2025, by Senior Pastor Rev Dr Charles Owusu Ampofo.

In his sermon, Rev Dr Charles Ampofo called on all members to dedicate themselves to the services of the church and God.

Rev Dr. Charles Owusu Ampofo, who is also the President of Ministers Conference of the Ghana Baptist Convention, emphasized the importance of living a life of purpose and service to God.

He encouraged members to re-examine their commitment to their faith and to the church, and to seek ways to deepen their relationship with God.

He reminded the congregation “that serving God is not just about attending church services, but about living a life of humility, love, and service to others.”

Rev. Dr. Charles Ampofo called on members to seek opportunities to serve others, both within and outside the church community.

“This call to action comes at a time when the church is reflecting on its mission and purpose,” he stated.

He encouraged members to use this opportunity to reflect on their own spiritual journeys and to seek ways to renew their commitment to their faith.
