Ashanti NPP Chairmen condemn Altercation at MMT

Ashanti regional constituency chairmen of the ruling New Patriotic Party have expressed disappointment at the Chaos that erupted at the Kumasi Metro Mass Transit(MMT) Office when the newly appointed Ashanti Regional Depot manager of MMT reported to the grounds to start his Administrative work as a manager.

Some aggrieved members of the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region yesterday stormed the premises of the Metro Mass Transit Bus terminal in the region to stop one Nicholas Oduro from holding himself as the Regional Depot Manager.

Armed Police personnel took control at the Metro Mass Transport terminal and averted a clash between supporters of two rival individuals who claim to have been appointed to head the state transport company.

In a press statement, the group described the incident as very pathetic for Nana Akuffo Addo’s administration and called for the immediate dismissal of the director of MMT, Mr Bennett for his incompetence and disgrace brought to the Party.

”Per the speculations trending on the social media depicting that, founding member the of NPP in the Ashanti region Dr Amoako Tuffour has led one Nicholas from Manhyia North constituency for the same appointment that has already given to Agyenim Boateng Daniel”.

”We all know Agyenim Boateng Daniel very well and the kind of work he did during his time as deputy regional organizer NPP, which has yielded a fruitful victory for NPP”, the statement said.

They are therefore appealling to His HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo to reinstate the selfless, dedicated and hard working Mr Agyenim Boateng to reward his contribution to the party’s victory.

”We are all in one accord appealing to the president, and his ruling team to reinstate Mr Agyenim Boateng’s appointment, if the withdrawal letter is authentic”.

According to the statement, Mr Agyenim Boateng Daniel was announced to the general public to handle the portfolio and as leaders of peace, they are solidly behind him and trust his ability to handle the position.

*PETITION TO REVOKE BAD ATTITUDES TOWARDS THE APPOINTMENT OF AGYENIN BOATENG DANIEL*

We the Ashanti regional constituency chairmen of the ruling New Patriotic Party are surprised about what is happening with the appointment of Mr Agyenim Boateng Daniel, Ashanti regional acting organizer who was currently appointed by the president of the republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo as Depot Ashanti Regional manager of MMT.

After hearing such remarkable appointment, we all applauded to the president, HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and his ruling team.

Our main disappointment and sadness is about what happened today when Agyenim Boateng Daniel reported to the grounds to start his Administrative work as a manager of such noble agency.

Per the speculations trending on the social media depicting that, the founder of NPP in the Ashanti region Dr

Amoako Tuffour has led one Nicholas from Manhyia North constituency for the same appointment that has already given to Agyenim Boateng Daniel.

These and many more reasons why we are writing this petition to our own Father, HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and his ruling team to investigate this issue thoroughly because it is a disgrace to our noble party NPP.

Our questions circulate under these;

1. how can two people be offered the same appointment?
2. Who was responsible for the issuing of the same appointment letter to two different individuals?
3. Were the two appointment letters signed by the same person?
4. Who was given the appointment letter first and what was the reason for the withdrawal?

These and many more questions we are asking for answers from Director of MMT, Mr Bennett and his representatives.
This incident is very pathetic as far as the administration of Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo is concerned. We are seriously appealing that, the director of MMT Mr Bennett must be sack immediately for his incompetence in the NPP administration because he has disgraced the great ruling New Patriotic Party.

We all know Agyenim Boateng Daniel very well and the kind of work he did during his time as deputy regional organizer NPP, which has yielded a fruitful victory for NPP.

His commitments, selfless, dedication, hard work and many more, contributed towards the party’s victory.
We are all in one accord appealing to the president, HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and his ruling team to reinstate Mr Agyenim Boateng’s appointment, if the withdrawal letter is authentic.

We are solidly behind Agyenim Boateng Daniel because it is he whom we know and trust to be able to handle the position.

Perhaps it’s Mr Agyenim Boateng Daniel whose name was announced to the general public to handle such portfolio. We are leaders to maintain peace and order.
How can a party member fight a regional organizer over a job position, when we are all of the same family.
