Six Killed, 11 others in critical conditions in Feyiase road crash
Six persons have been confirmed dead with eleven others in critical condition following a gory accident at Feyiase in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region
The six, according to residents died when a sprinter bus they were on board from a funeral at Aputuogya collided with a tipper truck on the Feyiase-Kontenase highway
Eye witness in an interview with OTEC News reporter, Jacob Agyenim Boateng, said the fatal accident which occurred on the evening of Saturday November 18, 2023, saw four people dying on the scene with some having parts of their bodies mutilated
They revealed that, two others died while receiving treatment at the Bekwai Government Hospital
It took the intervention of officers of the Ghana National Fire Service GNFS among others and the Ghana Police Service to rescue the injured persons who were trapped in the sprinter bus
Four of the injured victims are currently receiving treatment at the Bekwai government hospital while seven others are on admission at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital
They revealed that all the victims are natives of Manso Fahiakobo who had attended funeral rites at Aputuogya
Police in the area have begun investigating what might have caused the accident
