Mama Pat leads Asokwa door to door campaign in Asokwa
The Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Asokwa and Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament, Madam Patricia Appiagyei has intenfied the party’s door to door campaigns in the Asokwa Municipality.
Zoning the constituency into three, the MP leads one zone with some of the constituency’s executives members, while the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Akwannuasah Gyimah and the constituency chairman, Rev Benjamin Fosu Nkromah lead the two other zones.
Touring markets, shops, homes and eating joints over the weekend in her zone, Madam Appiagyei urged residents to give the NPP and her another term to lead.
“I plead with you to give the NPP and my humble self another term and we would be able to concretize projects and programs we have started including youth employment and development”, Madam Appiagyei appealed.
Programs:
Madam Appiagyei, the three term MP for Asokwa asked residents to look at the solid foundation the Akufo-Addo government had laid since 2017 and vote for Dr Bawumia to continue the implementation of some of the policies as well as introduce new ones.
She noted that the social intervention policies such as the free SHS, TVET and other educational projects were avenues the NPP wants to use to help the mass of the people
Madam Appiagyei said the NPP believes in the harnessing of both human and natural resource potentials of the country so it can lead to better transformation.
“We in the NPP believe that when you empower the Ghanaian through education, you would set them up for proper transformation in life”, the MP said.
Jobs:
Madam Appiagyei urged residents to be hopeful of better job opportunities.
She said Dr Mahamodu Bawumia, the NPP flag-bearer was determined to use technology to create job spaces for the youth and others.
Asokwa residents, Madam Appiagyei intimated would surely benefit from the job creation ventures outlined in the manifesto of the NPP since she was also designing a module for employment for the youth.
“We have in Dr Mahamodu Bawumia a man whose desire is to see the total development of Ghana and this can best be done when the youth can have access to jobs and other empowerment opportunities after school”, the Asokwa MP posited.
