Dr. Elizabeth Sarkodie Mensah, Mother of WWE Star Kofi Kingston, Honored for Humanitarian Works

Dr. Elizabeth Sarkodie Mensah, the mother of renowned WWE star Kofi Kingston, has been awarded by the Atwima Traditional Council for her outstanding humanitarian works in Ghana.

The esteemed stateswoman was recognized for her pivotal role in supporting education in the area, particularly through her foundation, CLICK Foundation.

The Nifahene of Atwima Traditional Council and Chief of Atwima Takyiman, Nana Afriyie Takyi III, during the presentation highlighted Dr. Sarkodie Mensah’s contributions to education.
Notably, her foundation constructed an ultramodern ICT center for students, furnished with laptops, books, computers, and other essential accessories.
The award was received by Dr. Sarkodie Mensah from the Atwimahemaa, Nana Akua Akyere III.
As a distinguished diplomat and education advocate, Dr. Sarkodie Mensah has made significant impacts in Ghana and beyond.

Dr. Sarkodie Mensah’s background includes serving as Ghana’s Deputy Permanent Representative to UNESCO in Paris and working as a Research and Instructional Librarian in various US institutions.
She co-founded the CLICK for Quality Education Foundation, focused on establishing state-of-the-art libraries and computer labs in Junior High Schools.
The CLICK Foundation’s first center was commissioned in October 2023, serving a cluster of five Junior High Schools in the Kwadaso Municipality.
Dr. Sarkodie Mensah’s dedication to education and community development has earned her this well-deserved recognition.
