
A section of Ghanaians have expressed disappointment in President John Dramani Mahama’s efforts to combat corruption within his first 100 days in office.

Despite his pledge to fight corruption, residents note that issues persist in major public sector areas.
Speaking to OTEC News,on Wednesday April 16, 205, residents in the Kumasi Metropolis urged President Mahama to take more decisive action against corruption.
They feel that the government hasn’t made significant moves in tackling corruption, calling on the president to intensify efforts.
Residents emphasized that corruption remains a major issue affecting various sectors, and they expect more tangible actions from the government.
It’s worth noting that President Mahama has outlined plans to combat corruption, including establishing an Independent Value-for-Money Office to scrutinize government procurements above $5 million
He also launched Operation Recover-All-Loot to investigate and prosecute corruption cases.
Additionally, his administration aims to strengthen accountability and transparency in governance.
