A/R: Rita Bakery awarded for exceptional dedication to hygienic practices
Rita Bakery received recognition for its exceptional dedication to hygienic practices at the Grains Standards Management Awards (GHSM), which were hosted by Olam Agri and Twentyth Consult.
The award, presented at a prestigious event in Tema on February 22, 2025, acknowledges Rita Bakery’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
The bakery, located in Kenyasi in the Kwabre East district of the Ashanti region, attained a 4-star rating in the hygiene program from January 2024 to December 2024.
For its recognition, Rita Bakery’s CEO, Madam Rita Afriyie, received a Certificate of Achievement and a chest freezer refrigerator.
In the certificate signed by Soumya Saxena and Richard Apaloo of Olam Agri and Twentyth Consult, respectively, congratulating Rita Bakery, it read, “For achieving a four-star rating in the 2024 Hygiene Program. Your commitment to maintaining a hygienic bakery has resulted in excellent performance”.

After receiving the award, Madam Rita Afriyie expressed her gratitude to Olam Agri and the Twentyth Consult and Standards Management Awards (GHSM).
